Based out of Ponce Inlet, Florida, Captain Tim Garrett has focused his fishing charter on deep sea bottom fishing and trolling for more than 33 years! We are conveniently located within a mile of the actual Ponce Inlet which allows for more time fishing and less time taxiing to the open waters of beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
Captain Tim Garrett has been running the Waterproof serving as one of the original charter boats in Ponce Inlet offering a range of chartered fishing trips, starting at a 4-hour day trip, up to a full 12-hour adventure for hard-core anglers.
You will fish aboard the Waterproof, which is a 40’ custom-built Number 1 boat that specializes in offshore trolling and bottom fishing.
The vessel is safe and fast, being powered by a 650 HP John Deere engine, which quickly gets you out to the reefs for offshore deep sea fishing. It comes equipped with the latest sport fishing equipment for navigating the bottom reefs to put you on the offshore sport fish you want. We also adhere to the safety features recommended by the USCG.
You will enjoy a large cockpit area, a spacious cabin with a restroom, "fighting chairs" for hauling in your big catch, and a flybridge perfect for sightseeing. Capt. Tim will provide you with all the sport fishing equipment you’ll need, including live bait! — Don't worry, the first mate, Nick, will hook it on for you!
